In short: A raised floor for trade shows is an elevated system floor laid on top of the hall floor. Beneath the walking surface, a cavity is created for power, data, and AV cables. The Stand-On Floor is a modular trade show raised floor made of 50 × 50 cm base tiles. What is a raised floor at a trade show?

At trade shows, a raised floor serves as a level, clean base for the stand. It evens out small irregularities in the hall floor, visually defines the stand area, and hides the technical equipment. Classic trade show raised floors often consist of wooden constructions with screws, edge profiles, and several installers. They are frequently discarded after just a few uses. The Stand-On Floor replaces this construction with a click system made of reusable tiles.

    How the Stand-On raised floor is built

    • Base tile: 50 × 50 cm, 1.5 kg per tile, stackable
    • Height: 26 mm, 30 mm with cover panels
    • Connection: The tiles are connected by hand using clickers, with no tools required. Triangular pegs interlock to create a level surface.
    • Cover panels: Carpet, vinyl, wood, or custom printing. For a new look, simply swap out the cover panels.
    • Edges and ramps: for a clean finish and a low-barrier transition to the hall floor
    • Material: recycled polycarbonate granulate, all products can be recycled again

    Cable management: cables hidden beneath the stand

    The base tiles have numerous channels into which you lay cables from above. Cables with a diameter of up to 10 mm fit directly into the channels, and larger cables can also be routed through the floor. For projects with a lot of technical equipment, there is the Stand-On AV tile. It provides extra space for power and data cables, AV connections, power strips, water lines, and air hoses. This means no cables taped to the carpet, and visitors see a tidy stand.

    Installation: by one person, no tools required

    Because a tile weighs only 1.5 kg and connects without tools, a single person can install the floor. Stand-On reports up to seven times faster setup and breakdown. Dismantling is just as simple: release the clickers, stack the tiles, and pack them up.

    The Stand-On Floor is built for heavy loads: up to 3,600 kg/m². That’s why the same system is also used as showroom flooring in car dealerships and for vehicle displays. LED lighting can optionally be integrated into the floor, and display and stand elements such as cubes connect seamlessly.

    Transport and storage

    The tiles are compact and stackable. Stand-On supplies foldable container boxes with heavy-duty wheels and rain protection: one for 50 m² (200 base tiles) and one for 25 m² (100 base tiles). On request, the floor can be shipped on pallets.

    Sustainable: reuse instead of discard

    A wooden raised floor often ends up in the skip after just a few projects. Stand-On tiles can be reused for more than ten years. Old tiles are resurfaced and remanufactured, or returned to the rental stock. This saves material waste, transport volume, and storage space. Stand-On provides a lifetime guarantee on product use.

      Rent or buy a raised floor?

      Both are possible. In the Netherlands, Stand-On rents and sells the floor directly. If you rent first and later buy the floor, the full rental amount is credited toward the purchase price, except for transport costs. Outside the Netherlands, the Stand-On Floor is offered through partners and resellers and is used in more than 60 countries.
